Wranglers have the weirdest dashes. CJs were just utilitarian, so they're like "pay a designer? Heck, just throw the gauges on there", but then the Wrangler came along, and they finally hired a designer, but he was too timid to actually design anything; he just wanted to add some moulding and call it good. Results were a little odd.
